A big "Hi" from all of us here at RubyScrumptious & if you are joining us for the first time then welcome to the Greenwich Chihuahua & Toydogs Meetup Group!

Please note this group is for owners of ALL toy breeds as well as any crosses of toy breeds (although we do not advocate the breeding of "designer dog" crossbreeds!).

I hope you will all join in with the forums - there are lots of great topics already there or you can add new ones!
New members may post immediately once they have been approved to join the group!

This Meetup group was formed in November 2006 due to the lack of any toydog events or Meetups in the area.
I am happy to report that the group & website has had over 30,000 visitors since we started already!
We have held over 70 Meetups so far and these have included trips to Crufts,All About Dogs,Trinny & Susannah filming,Chi Garden Party,Paws in the Park,Discover Dogs ETC + at least twice a month in Greenwich Park & not forgetting our parties!

We have a yearly membership minimum donation of £10 per household (individual or family)
- this works out at less than 85 pence a month! -
and can be paid via Paypal or given to the Organiser at the next meetup! - (goto www.londontoydogs.com/dues to pay direct via Paypal!)

You & your dog(s) will then be able to come along to some of our enjoyable non-smoking meetups (you can find the dates in the events calendar
At each event you will see an rsvp system, it is very helpful if members can rsvp whether they are saying yes,no or maybe to give us an idea of attendance, but it is also important so that we don't set off without you leaving you behind if you are stuck in traffic etc! so if you can't make it quickly change your rsvp to no and it saves any problems - if it's last minute please contact me on 07841 517533

We have several generous sponsors who kindly provide discounts, special offers, or other services for our members - you will be provided with the details once you are a full member!
We are also very fortunate to have had alot of media interest in our group - the most recent feature is in Your Dog magazine (April 2009 issue - pages 16-19),previously we have had alot of coverage with London Dogtails & Dogs Today magazines + Dog World newspapers!

Alot of members have behavioural problems/training issues with their toydogs so if you have questions on health,play,training or anything else why not post a message to our other members? or if you're feeling shy you can email me direct

Please help to make the group forums a sociable place for everyone to join in & chat to each other on here as well as at the meetups! Once you break the ice you will find that often you have experienced similar issues with your toydog! and don't sit back and let the same people post without replying or it will not be a very interesting place at all [:p]

With regards the site & Meetup Group, members are always encouraged to share any ideas they have about what type of events they would like to have, suitable Meetup locations etc.
